Vehicle to pedestrian would cause social change. This is because, once again this is a technological innovation that requires relying on our phones and computer systems to interact with each other, even if it's for safety reasons. This innovation makes it so that drivers get alerts on their computer systems within their vehicles if a pedestrian is getting too close to them. It also allows a pedestrian that is not paying enough attention to get an alert on their smartphone so that they become aware of their surroundings. This innovation makes is easier to avoid personal contact, even if it would be to honk and stick your head out of the window to tell a pedestrian to be careful. It also causes social change because it gives people more of a reason to be able to be on their phones while walking on the street, since they know this alert system would tell them if they were in danger, and ultimately allowing them to avoid social contact when out of the house. It exemplifies how much people are reliable on their phones that we actually need a system that alerts them when they are so into their phones that they don't notice a car about to hit them.
